PHOQ FM

What: DJ Set Recordings
When: 2019-Ongoing
Where: Vietnam
Role: Co-Creator
What I Did: Concept + Video editing
With: Thibaut Rabier
Collaborators: All the DJs + Valentin Orange + Come Laumonier

Parallel to the Phoq Sessions, which took time to organize, we kept filming DJs in Thibaut’s room, turned studio [Studio Klito], weekly.

Before corona virus, Hanoi was attracting a lot of good international DJs, like Skatebard and Ben UFO, mainly throughout the dancefloors of Savage and Studio Adventure.

Sometimes we would lure one of them inside the studio for a weird pink session of random questions and shirtless DJ sets (of course Skatebard said no). The first brave adventurer was Abhi Meer (video below), and we had a really good time talking about how strong vietnamese coffee was and the time he used to play in pussy bars int the outskirts of Mumbai.
For Levi Oi’s DJ set, a local rising star, we had her cut open a grapefruit. I tell you that, those grapefruits were really hard to open properly and only Vietnamese knew the ways to it. She made it look easy and didn’t waste a single drop and transition.
You can find all those weird sessions and interviews here.
