For this project I had to use photography and scanography to create abstract and obscure designs. Before I started designing I went out and gathered some photos of different textures. These would be scanned in and used as part of my final designs. During the creation of these designs I also used Adobe Photoshop to change the hue, saturation and brightness of them.
Before I started designing I uniquely folded two pieces of A4 paper that read "Graphic Design Is Not Just Digital" and "Where There Is No Order There Is Chaos". One of these two pieces of folded paper will be used in the background in each of my final outcomes.
For this design I chose to use the photo of a tree that I took as the background, and layered the text from one of the folded pieces of paper on top of it. For this design I decided to lower the hue, saturation, and brightness as I believe that it works well with the texture of the tree.
For these designs I used a mixture of photographed textures and markings that I had made using ink. With these three designs I chose to increase the hue, saturation and brightness compared to the first design that I created.
