Challenging the idea of who creates the artwork and what measure of control the artist has vs people who interact with it and their interpratation. in this piece people are allowed to experience the creation of a form with the simple action of twisting in any direction.

 

Was interested in how you can create structures out of 2D forms, as you would in pattern making. Which led me to explore movement in the human spine. The sculpture has 24 elements that are all connected through a metal rod and can allow interaction for a new creation every time.
