Temple Street (Chinatown) Singapore

Temple Street (Chinatown) Singapore
In contrast to the renowned Temple Street markets in Hong Kong, Singapore's Temple Street comes alive only during the Chinese New Year (CNY) festivities. Despite its limited opening period, the narrow lane sees a constant flow of tourists and locals, with numerous storekeepers energetically selling their goods. Once CNY concludes, Temple Street returns to its usual quiet ambiance, interrupted only by sporadic cars and passersby. Nevertheless, the street remains adorned with lanterns that illuminate the entire area throughout the year, offering a picturesque setting and making it an ideal location for photography. This captivating scene was skillfully captured by Martin Huangg.
