On March 3, 1969 the United States Navy established
an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots.
Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat
and to ensure that the handful of men and women who
graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world.
They succeeded.
Today, the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School.

I love GOAT Tom Cruise and absolutely have watched Top Gun (1986) and Top Gun Maverick (2022) collectively 50+ times. It is very special and close to my heart. I first started sketching portraits in the first lockdown of Covid in 2020. I made a sketch of Tom Cruise starring as Capt. Pete Mitchell callsign MAVERICK (I will provide it below xD). Although I have to say it's been a wonderful journey since then for my passion of pencil art. I hope the difference would inspire young learning artist and they can draw what they adore.
