A series of humorous pop up birthday cards for some friends who are celebrating their 25th birthday in March 2013.

 

Each card was drawn with a specific theme depending on each persons nickname/trait, which then evolves into a 'greater' version of the said nickname/trait since they're turning a special 25 years old.

1) An Egg > Egg Benedict

2) Strawberry > Strawberry Shortcake

3) Catfish > Koi

4) A small bottle of medicine oil > A large bottle of medicine rub 

5) Cat > Tiger (balm)

 

* Selamat means 'congratulations' in Indonesian

** weapon of choice: pencil, drawing pen, markers, colored pencils, 80gr canson paper, used hard covered wedding invitations (the cartons used as inner structures for the card)
