Clippit is a service that allows users to share real-time clips of what they've just watched on television with friends through social media. The app uses audio recognition to detect which program the user is watching and encourages engagement through liking, commenting and sharing.
As the lead UX/UI designer, I worked with the Clippit team to create a design that makes it easy for people to find the show they're watching, locate the specific clip they want to share and publish it. Users can quickly find content that they're interested in by browsing different categories or searching through the Explore tab. They can go back to liked clips and clips they've posted through their profile screen. Below are process sketches, wireframes and visual compositions for the app.
