For this exercise, I was tasked to create a menu for a restaurant of my imagination. The restaurant I created is titled "The Sparkling Marigold".
For this menu, I wanted to go for a minimal and luxurious look. Using a color palette of golden yellow, burnt orange, cream, and dark brown, a simplistic look was achieved.
I used three typefaces to create balance and variety between the title, courses, and descriptions. The decorative font was used for the menu label and logo name while the simplest font was used for the course descriptions. The menu was separated into its required categories: starters, drinks, and the main courses. The prices are labeled accurately as they would be in an upscale restaurant.
