UAE National Day:
Date: UAE National Day is celebrated on December 2nd each year.
Significance: December 2nd marks the anniversary of the formation of the United Arab Emirates in 1971 when the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Umm Al-Quwain, Fujairah, and Ajman came together to form a sovereign nation. The seventh emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, joined the federation later, on February 10, 1972.
