Setapak! Langkahmu Untuk Perubahan (A Step Towards Change) is a charity program run by PPIA Melbourne University that focuses on helping rural Indonesian schoolchildren improve their educational standards.

 

The design objective is to establish a strong visual identity for the project through a logo and a proposal design. The visual elements chosen are:

1. Footsteps, which corresponds to the project's title and slogan

2. Blackboard, representing the traditional medium of teaching used in most Indonesian schools

3. Alphabets, symbolic of literacy, which is the essence of education - the letters highlighted a different colour in each page follows an alphabetical sequence
