SKYLINE is a project of an apartment situated in the prestigious district of Budapest, designed in the Modern Luxury style. Tailored for a family with three children, this interior boasts stunning views of the old town.
The planning solution is shaped by the distinctive architecture of the house, dividing the apartment into private and common areas. Upon entering, one encounters the common area featuring a hallway, a spacious living room with an integrated kitchen, a guest bathroom, an outerwear wardrobe, and a laundry room. A corridor then leads to the private section housing the bedrooms, wardrobes, and bathrooms.

The interior features a predominantly dark and monochromatic color scheme, accented by touches of blue and ochre motifs. It's composed primarily of natural materials, embracing soft, warm lighting alongside contrasting dark accents. However, a departure from this color scheme is found in the children's rooms, where various shades are utilized to create a more fitting atmosphere for the space.
The focal point of the living room is a spacious seating area anchored by an incredibly comfortable B&B ITALIA sofa. This inviting setup is complemented by a composition of coffee tables, a pouf, and panels in a bronze mirror finish.
The focal point in the kitchen area is the island with a chipped, uneven edge from a Patagonia quartzite, accompanied by the striking Henge lamp suspended above it.
The guest bathroom holds a special place in our design vision. It features Mutina textured tiles harmonizing with active marble, complemented by dark plumbing fixtures, elegant mirrors, and Articolo suspensions reminiscent of frozen champagne splashes. With a dark ceiling, these elements combine to create a spacious and inviting ambiance.
As for the wardrobe dedicated to outwear, it exudes a chamber-like elegance. Adorned with Elitis wallpaper and warm lighting, it feels like a sophisticated casket, setting a refined mood within the apartment.
The master area exudes an incredible sense of comfort, coziness, and meticulous attention to detail. The bedroom's centerpiece is the metallized wall panel behind the headboard, crafted from Phillip Jeffries wallpaper. Enhancing this feature are the bronze mirrors and the breathtaking Ochre pendants, completing the composition with elegance.
In the closet, we employed a variety of intriguing techniques: facades adorned with blue textured fabric, visually extending the panel behind the bed; remarkable Ochre handles crafted from horn; and sliding doors made of a blend of mesh and glass.
The bathroom boasts generous space and a sophisticated design. Its focal point is a window, positioned with a translucent Antonio Lupi bathtub on the floor in front. We've implemented an interesting planning solution, dividing the space into distinct zones: one housing the bathtub and another featuring a separate toilet room with a shower area accompanied by a marble bench.
The terraces seamlessly extend the interior design, featuring a predominance of neutral and elegant colors with accents of blue tones and ochre. Divided into common and private zones, the terraces are thoughtfully designed for maximum functionality. Each room has its dedicated entrance to the terrace, ensuring individuality and accessibility.
In each child's room, we've chosen a primary color scheme. These rooms exude a playful atmosphere with elements such as vibrant carpets, furniture featuring rounded forms, and even cabinet handles. Despite the playful design, we've ensured that these rooms are versatile enough to evolve into spaces suitable for teenagers with simple changes, allowing for adaptability over time.
The children's bathroom seamlessly continues the visual aesthetics of the bedrooms, emphasizing salmon and blue shades that complement the overall color scheme of the apartment. Playful elements are introduced through the pattern of floor tiles from 41zero42 and the textured wall tiles, adding a lively touch to the space.
The apartment exudes a cozy and intimate atmosphere, it radiates a distinct character, blending refinement with a touch of boldness. This fusion represents our vision of the perfect embodiment of the Modern Luxury style.
