In this artwork, I've portrayed myself through a live mirror session. Inspired by the Medusa painting, I experimented with my hair, depicting it as engaging with tree branches. Here, the branches symbolize a new life because wearing glasses marks the beginning of a new phase. when a person starts their day by putting on glasses, it signifies a fresh start, like the metaphor of branching out into a new journey. The eyes on the branches here symbolize the varied feelings, moods and emotions of individuals who don't wear glasses. In the way, these eyes represents society, reflecting the diverse range of experiences and perspectives within it.
