this portrait of the well-known charracter named sally was created using conte crayons on 18" X 24" pastel paper. i wanted to draw her at a larger scale, more human-like, showing emotion. with minimal help from adobe photoshop cs5, i was able to soften the grooves of the paper to give the final image a more natural, feminine, sleek look.
