this digital painting was created using adobe photoshop cs5 as well as corel painter & a mixture of wacom tablet & a mouse. this image came from a digital photograph that i took of myself & a chicago musician named martin saldana ( find him at facebook.com/martin.saldana.92 )
for the digital painting, i kept many of the colors as close to the real-deal as possible. i really wanted the viewer to feel as though we are right in front of them... more of an "in your face" type of feel, but not in a bad way. as emotionless as we look in this photo, we are actually quite the opposite in person.
