Precedent studies on the Musion Theater Center included anthropometric motion studies. Specifically, we studied the body movements and changes over time through a cartwheel motion. We also looked at motion studies of a measured space such as a dorm in an apartment complex. Motions such as getting into bed, navigating to and opening the wardrobe, and sitting at the desk showed patterns of frequency in used spaces verses rarely used spaces. In the design of the musion theater, I sought to maximize all space and "even out" the frequency of spaces.
