Designing a building for a very specific program such as the Musion Eyeliner technology, a high definition video projection technology that uses the same principles as Pepper's Ghost, was not the toughest challenge in this project. The trick was working over the steep slope of the site. A former parking lot, the site drops a total of 24 feet from corner to corner. In order to combat that, the building essentially functioned as a bridge, touching down in two separate places and connecting across, creating a breezeway underneath and an additional outdoor amphitheater. Other challenges included competing with and working alongside the large block-wide Portman buildings such as AmericasMart and the American Cancer Society and not imposing on, but rather complementing the Centennial Olympic Park next door.
