Branding and packaging design of American ale. The name ale "Stone" is associated with the legend of the philosopher's stone and its magical properties capable of curing any disease. The name of ale was not chosen by chance, because ale is one of the oldest types of beer that people have been drinking since the dawn of civilization. Ale in moderate doses has medicinal properties. At the heart of the design is a hand clutching the Philosopher's Stone. Three colors are used in the packaging design: red, yellow and black to denote Pale, Old and Golden Ale, respectively. The packaging illustration is decorated with linear ornament to emphasize the ancient origin of ale. A font for the ale brand was developed separately. The design of can was also developed.
