The woven wall-hanging was created using a combination of hand weaving and natural dye techniques. The weft yarn in each panel was dyed in locally foraged dye material in the respective order of pokeberry, black walnut, goldenrod, and Japanese maple leaves.  The piece focuses design process by incorporating vases of dye baths and raw warp ends.
