This piece is the beginning of a series of miniature oil paintings I will be doing on wood panels. I enjoy the idea of intimate little snapshots of objects with little meaning on their own, but displayed in a certain way amongst other selected objects, says something new. I had a lot of fun painting the intricate slimy details of this piece, both grotesque and elegant depending on your view.
