Hand-built stoneware ceramic modules with underglaze stain. Sculpture is 72" in height.

THE PROCESS
Master form made from styrofoam cut on hot-wire. Master mold is then made of one half in plaster. Stoneware is pressed molded into plaster mold and the two halves are put together to form one module. Module is then textures, fire, stained and fired again.
