This project was based on a self-created story relating to crime and illustrate the crime scene described in the story.
Here is the original story:
At the morning, there was a burglar confirmed at Target. It is eccentric that the thief did not take expensive commodities like jewelries or cash. Instead, bunches of bottled syrups were missing. Accordingly, the police started to investigate the nearby communities. They suddenly found some dribble of syrup on the path of an independent accomodation,which was only hundreds of miles away from the Target. Groups of ants fed on the dribble besides. After breaking through the door of that accommodation, a pungent smell hit everyone’s face and nostrils. The inside looked quite messy, all the chairs around the table and the couches had fallen on the floor, some drinking glasses were shattered and the light in the living room was seemingly damaged. The whole scene was like a battlefield, in other words, there were people fighting in the living room. Most importantly, there were numerous ants crawling linearly towards the bathroom with an unlocked door. Furthermore, some drag marks were found on the floor expanded to the bathroom as well. Therefore, the policemen stormed into the bathroom but there was no one inside. What they could see was a large quantity of syrup bottles which were empty. And there was amount of syrup inside wash basin, massive syrup was diffused out due to the fullness of the basin and drop on the floor, which attracted most of the ants. Something strange was that the track of the syrup seemed to be spattered, which meant something like the head of a victim was pushed into the syrup, causing the syrup to splash. In addition, there were also some handprints found on the mirror above the wash basin. What in front of the mirror was a chair moved from the living room, also with syrup dribble on the surface. Moreover, the window of the bathroom was open, associated with irregular footprints on. Based on what has been found in the venue, a crime scene restoration was able to be carried out. The culprit very likely the same one stole bottled syrup at night. And then he used transportation like cars, trucks or vans to bring all the things to the house. The victim was possibly still sleeping when the culprit broke into his house. They fought in the living room afterwards, and the crime was overwhelming apparently. So, he dragged the wounded victim into the bathroom, putting him on the chair and pouring all the syrup into the wash basin. Subsequently, he grabbed the victim’s head and violently put it into the syrup. The victim was struggling hard owing to the intense choking sensation. That was the reason why the handprints were left on the mirror. The culprit opened the window and throwed the victim’s body after his death confirmed. At the end, the culprit transported the body to somewhere else with his vehicle. Because the whole thing happened quick so there was a lot of syrup dribble left in the crime scene, which became the evidence to charge the culprit to some extent.
