A little about me
Going through my journey as a Graphic Design student at the Lebanese American University,
I strongly noticed that I have developed problem solving skills. This might be a skill that
comes with being a designer but I am able to see it even in non-design related tasks.
Notably, out of all the courses taken in university, I really enjoyed motion design
and interactive media. I am able to envision myself as a UX/UI designer later on,
since it gives me the freedom to delve into the digital needs of users, clients,
and companies. The digital world is only growing bigger.
My aim in the identity
To spread my bubbly positive vibes to the world and make sure it shines
in my brand and portfolio. Hence the choice of rounded hand-drawn type,
and bright welcoming colors.
Moodboard
Logo Process
For accurate cultural representation, as a Lebanese, I included my name in arabic into the logo.
In addition, my first attempts at including a bird into the logo were due to its high significance,
and presence in my life (don't forget to ask me about the anecdotes in our future endeavors).
As you can see, I experimented with a lot of different colors yet committed to the orange-red, magenta, and bright purple colors since they depict excitement, warmth, and positive energy.
As for the typography, Satoshi Medium was used for my full name in english and beIN Normal
for my full name in arabic.
Collaterals
I wanted to represent myself properly, therefore, I thought of the adjective that people usually
give me when describing me in one word: Hyperactive. I always try my absolute best to motivate
those around me, giving them a little push, while seeing them happy. I love seeing those around me with a smile on their face, hence why you would always find me smiling and acting a little bit goofy.
Thus, for my branding implementation, I found it accurate to represent my hyperactivity in the
things that give me an adrenaline boost and a not so small, but effective, sugar rush on the side.
Moreover, the choice of bracelets mockup represent my love for amusement parks,
which comes as an ideal way to spend my day along with the adrenaline that comes rushing in.
