On bottom, you can see an example of 3D designed fossils / trilobites that I incorporated into a kit based educational product that I made as well - which is capable of molding plaster, chocolates, and even low temp metals.  I often make plaster fossil casts with my students, for their projects; a few examples are in the video below about AI + paleontology.
