Sangoma Supermarket was my entry to the "The Wonders of the Universe vol. I" - a group exhibition where illustrators were asked to develop a series of objects that inform how their interpretation of ‘the wonders of the Universe’.  

 

The idea came from my facination with the growing popularity of sangoma's (also known as witch doctors or traditional healers) in South Africa along with the products they supply. Upon taking another trip around Mzanzi, here were some of the "wonders" I found.
