My concept for my concentration is experimenting with traditional silver gelatin photography, taking inspiration from surrealist and pictorialist artists from the early 1900’s. My images are created through a variety of analog shooting methods and printed straight from the negative in the darkroom. I want to question the authenticity of photographic images, making viewers wrestle with thoughts of how the images were created.
