The project started out as doodles during lectures in science classes, moving on to become sketches that I couldn't resist turning into digital renderings.
I used one assigned color for each field, most of the time using accepted/stereotyped colors of the field, and sure, there were times when I had to sacrifice a little on realism but I think it worked for the best.
The layout just morphed as I went through the elements for each field.
