The project was born out of a personal and desperate search during a period of detachment from reality and everyday life, the quarantine.

I started photographing in a very spontaneous way what aroused a special interest in me, I found stimuli even in things I had always had in front of me and had never seen with other eyes. This work is a dialogue between the self and external reality, a mythical world of nature, life and death.

I needed an immediate instrument that could give me back my reality in images,
so I used my old Polaroid.

The title takes its name from the Japanese term 'Mono no aware', which represents the thought of being moved by something beautiful that will however have an end.
