RUSH HOUR
This generative artwork consists of 10,000 particles created in a 3D digital space, captured from a perpendicular point of view. The particles are generated in a random order, forming their respective connections, potentially taking shapes in three or two dimensions. Its use can lead to an input with motion sensors, achieving an interactive character with the viewer.
During the development of the artwork, the movement parameters of these particles are affected, and their movements are drawn by emitting lights and colors. Their variation depends on the controller used and the objective of the environment to be created. The life expectancy and the birth of more particles are intentionally programmable variables. The available effects can alter the background colors in the form of graphic noise, arranged through algorithmic expressions, and the immersive character is enhanced by directing the particles towards the viewer.
The variation of inputs during the artwork lies in showing or not showing the emission source. The purpose, variation, and focus of the artwork vary according to the context in which it is performed.
