Detroit is for Kids a coloring book that educates readers and colorist of all ages about the rich and beautiful history of Detroit Michigan.  Abandoned homes are illustratively portrayed in graphic pen and ink drawings that breath life into the City’s decaying urban landscape.  Stories taken from real life experiences of coincide with the houses painting an image of what the city once was and giving the reader an opportunity to recreate the image he or she envisions.  The book will be distributed throughout Detroit and the metropolitan area in hopes that residents will reconnect with the city and each other.
