✨ in this mixed media painting, i used a wide array of materials to bring Drake's music to life. acrylic paint, acrylic neon paint, glow in the dark powder, gold leaf, glitter, crushed glass, mod podge, iridescent color shift glaze, modeling paste, and a gloss varnish all played their part in creating this vibrant and emotive artwork.

💫 the gold leaf embellishments highlight the majestic OVO symbol's wing and add a touch of opulence to Drake's hair and beard.

modeling paste gives baby Drake's hair a unique texture, while crushed glass and glitter adorn the older Drake's necklace. the OVO symbol also shimmers with the mesmerizing sparkle of glitter.

lyrics and song titles from the 'Nothing Was The Same' album are artistically incorporated into the background, exuding a graffiti-style vibe that pays homage to Drake's lyrical genius. throughout the painting, abstract forms of acrylic neon paint, including baby Drake's hair, add a dynamic and energetic touch.
