A Visit to Garden Unidos
For our class today we took a visit to Garden Unidos in Oceanside! This garden & farm is run by a Native American family who grow natural foods with indigenous practices. While visiting Garden Unidos, we helped with some things around the garden like planting various vegetables and plants in the soil, while also documenting our day with our cameras! We also learned a lot about the different plants in their garden, and the practices they do daily. I thought that this field trip was very fun and informative! I enjoyed hearing from everyone at the garden, as well as experiencing this with our classmates.
