Onde-onde Njonja Moeda is a rebranding of the Onde-onde Notosuman brand which has been around since 1975. Onde-onde is a round fried snack, made from egg and wheat dough then sprinkled with sesame. Rebranding was carried out to meet the needs of the modern market, combining the original recipe with several flavor variants so that it is more easily accepted by all age segments. The packaging has also been updated and redesigned to make it safer when sent out of town and more hygienic to consume.

The name Njonja Moeda is based on the meaning of "Njonja" which means an experienced mature woman, who still upholds the legacy of authentic culinary recipes. Meanwhile, "Moeda" means the spirit of innovation and sensitivity to change. So "Njonja Moeda" combines the spirit of tradition and innovation.
