This piece is an interactive soft textile. Based upon classical style, this cravat was designed with the intention of intergrating electronics. It contains a microphone and twenty or so LEDs (either white or orange in colour) which are powered by a Lilypad Arduino. This is coded with a sensor to read the volume of noise reaching the microphone and changing the circuit of LEDs that lights up. The effect is a chaotic flash between orange and white light shining from within the piece.
