Table #1 is my first furniture design which was manufactured.

The requirements behind Table #1 are simple:

1 It should be carried by two persons with a bicycle from the workshop to my home(2km, second floor).

2 It should be manufacutred in 9 hours.

 

So the desgin characters is easy to build, lightweight and strong

The final shape is a thin layer plywood on top of two beams with round shape end for screwing legs and one long beam in the middle to add strength. The legs are IKEA VIKA.

Finally Table #1 fullfilled both requirements. It's quite strong. I can stand on it to change batteries of the clock.
