Sunam's portrait at Bella Freud, Marylebone
In London, I began a series of portraits featuring artists and designers in locations around the city that have left a mark on them.
The first one was Sunam, a Japanese artist I met at Saint Martins, and I resonated a lot with her perspective and sensitivity in classes. We took these photos at the Bella Freud store, an iconic designer and great-granddaughter of Sigmund Freud. The place holds a very special atmosphere and serves as one of Sunam's inspirations for her artwork.
