When I was a little girl, there used to be a monster who lurked when I didn’t eat meals. I had to finish eating my food quickly so that he doesn’t come and get me. Well, my mother told me about him. His name was “Phateecher” and he lived in the trees outside our tiny home with his little daughter.

With time I realised that he was not a bad monster. He was just hungry and wanted some food and maybe love! Now that I’m older I wish I could have just hugged him.

Life is about sharing, looking at someone else’s perspectives, knowing their stories, empathising and spreading love. I hope we all embrace our monsters and make this world a better place <3
