Lasagne Recipe Scarf is a design project in which students are asked to create a representation of lasagne that follows a recipe including factors such as ingredients, amounts, time, and action without using food or numbers. I chose to interpret the project by translating the recipe into a knit scarf pattern. To represent the time I used number of rows or proportional length, actions were substited by a particular stitch pattern, and each color represented a different ingredient.
