Earlier this summer, I was privileged to direct PREWRITTEN, a provocative ghost story about coming to grips with the devastating toll — professional and personal — of mass shooting. New Ambassadors Theatre Company presented the work as part of the 2023 Blurring Boundaries Festival.
Crashing after a long shift, a doctor discovers her spouse, a school teacher, is home in the middle of the day. The reason is something no one wants to hear. The doctor, however futile, wants to jump into action, but the teacher has long prepared for the consequences of such an event.
