Advanced HVAC & Plumbing is Morgantown's residential HVAC leader. For over 20 years, Advanced has served the Greater Morgantown Area, leveraging the latest technologies through unrivaled customer care to create a comfortable climate for your home.
Like Carrier, its flagship brand and the father of air conditioning, Advanced's message underscores innovation. However, Advanced struggled to attract top talent as a cutting-edge employer, resulting in sluggish annual growth of less than 5%. Additionally, the threats of equity firms acquiring other local HVAC companies with seemingly unlimited dollars, inevitable competition, and increasing online conveniences weighed heavily on Advanced. Finally, Advanced desired a versatile standalone symbol that easily translates across promotional materials people would want to wear.
Stewart Design worked with Advanced to create an image and message of excellence to defend its position as the local leader. The new symbol for Advanced implies heating, cooling, and airflow, while its raised shapes are reminiscent of its former tagline, "One Step Ahead." Similarly, the new identity is bright, bold, and clear, showcasing the new slogan, "Cutting-Edge Comfort."
