Experimenting with the gel photo transfer process

I've spent the day experimenting with gel photo transfers and here are a couple of my photos that I've transferred.
For this gel transfer I used one of my photos that I had manipulated using Photoshop. I transferred the image onto a gesso covered wood cradle.  The image transferred very easily and the color held quite nicely.
This image and the following ones are stages of a gel photo transfer on to canvas.  It takes some time, here I am using water to begin removing the paper.
Here is the image with a bit more water and paper removed. It takes some time and a soft touch.
In this image, I've added water and Acetone to help lift the paper.
The image is coming out relatively clean at this stage.

This is the final image.  The color and image have come out quite nicely.
This  image has great detail coming out, but I've lost some of the background.  Paint and texture will improve  the background.
This image surprised me coming out with such great color.
