This summer I took a road trip, took a lot of photos of highways and listened to a lot of Grateful Dead. I decided to combine the three into a fun project to practice hand lettering.
I picked lyrics that represent travel and perserverance. The photographs show highways at noon, dusk and midnight, representing driving or working through the night.
Lyrics are from the Grateful Dead songs "Beat It On Down The Line", "Truckin", and "Hell In A Bucket", respectively. Photography and lettering are all my own.
