Concept
This is the third apartment designed for the same clients, this time in a modern style with a touch of elegance. We used warm whites and a wooden floor, which give the interiors nobility and cosiness. The chic is complemented by the use of several designer furniture, such as Sarinen's Tulip table or Vitry and Baxter furniture.
Curves are a common accent throughout the apartment, often shaping the corners of the walls.
The clients wanted to separate the kitchen as a separate room, but at the same time have access to it both from the living room and from the entrance to the apartment. This arrangement determined the position of the countertop and high-rise buildings. The white colors of the fronts and the large window make the interior bright and comfortable to use, and the wooden top, which we designed at the customer's request, gives a warm atmosphere.
In the uniform, minimalist and bright interior of the hall, next to the entrance door, there is a wooden niche that integrates the seat, wardrobe and door to the wardrobe and laundry room.
In the parents' bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe was designed, located in the corridor, but behind the bedroom door. The walls "enveloping" the bed were covered with wallpaper, which gave warmth and coziness. Above the soft headboard in the front wall there is a wooden niche with atmospheric linear lighting, which extends the entire width, just like in the living room.
Both bathrooms - both en suite and general, are to some extent inspired by southern aesthetics, which is why light gray tiles imitating stone, but also natural wood, were used. In the ceiling, the shape of the countertop with sinks was repeated, creating lighting imitating a skylight.
The children's room was designed for two children and its character does not differ from the atmosphere of the whole apartment. The entire wall, including the bunk bed, is made of solid wood.
Opposite the furniture, closer to the window, there is a small study corner, and closer to the door - a wardrobe for clothes and toys. All elements of the room have been designed with the functionality and comfort of children in mind.
