Screenprinting Workshop

Sore legs, stained fingers, and a lost voice - signs of an excellent workshop
This past saturday I had the incredible chance of running a screenprinting workshop for the Open Lithuania Fund (Atviros Lietuvos fondas) during Būtent! festival in Birštonas, Lithuania.
It was so much fun and such a unique and special experience. I got to talk to so many people who had never seen a silkscreen frame before, and being able to introduce them to this new (to them) technique was such a precious moment. Even though we ran out of ink and had to close shop earlier than expected, still having people come up to me and ask questions was truly such a blessing. It really erased all the stress and anxiety I felt prior (and, honestly, during).
For this workshop I also created a custom illustration for OLF. It's intention was to represent OLF's values and mission: to encourage conversation, create connections, strengthen democratic and civic values, protect human rights and law.
Would absolutely do this again and again. But maybe after I regain my voice and can walk again properly.
