This is a packaging design for a fictional cereal named "Rainbow's" under Kellogg's, which is inspired from its existing product "Fruit Loops". 

This project has been done purely for an academic purpose.

The idea for an octagonal box comes from the concept of the rainbow which has 7 colours, Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red in that order. The 8th side of the octagon is the opening flap to pour the cereal. 

Mainly based for a target audience of age 5 - 15 years, this box also serves an educational value. The box can be rotated like a colour wheel to educate children about colours of the rainbow.
