Gun Awareness Social Campaign

Our Campaign
Our campaign focuses solely on raising awareness of the tragic consequences of gun violence in South Africa. We aim to educate gun owners on the importance of being cautious with their firearms and to prevent guns from falling into the wrong hands. Every year, 30 people die and over 180 are injured due to gun-related incidents, some of which result in permanent disabilities. It's crucial that we spread the message of responsible gun ownership and safety to prevent such tragedies from happening. Let's work together to reach a wide audience and make a difference in the lives of those affected by gun violence.
Typefaces:
We chose Bahnschrift as the design style for our campaign because it is a standardized letterform created by the Deutsches Institut für Normung in 1931 for use on road signs and technical applications. The clean and straightforward appearance of the font made it a good fit for our campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the tragic consequences of gun violence in South Africa.
We chose HumanRase as the font style for our campaign because it is expressive, aggressive, and yet simple and legible. The handwritten style was used in our visual advertising to create a sense of urgency and to convey the message of gun violence in a powerful way.
