The Burial (Short film)

The burial

Short film (2021)

A dark comedy about three man, a well and a film conversation.
Making of
Ireland, October, 2016. A very good friend of mine explain to me an idea he has for a low budget short film. I fall in love with the idea and I ask him to write it down so that we can start to get things going but he never does. Spain, November, 2020. COVID hit the world and nobody knows what’s going to happen; I decided to write and shoot the idea that my friend told me four years ago.
In a race against time, due to the rumors that Spain will be in lockdown after christmas, and with the help of Young Souls Studios, we manage to assemble a cast, crew and shooting in less than two weeks. The story is told in a single sequence shot not only to save time during production but also to give the viewer a sense that what’s not everything only happens within the limits of the frame.
