When I found out the classic 80's cartoon, 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe' was being made by Kevin Smith for Netflix, I was super excited. When the first images came out for it in anticipation of the release, I was blown away. It looked different and dynamic; exciting and had an anime feel to it which I really got excited about. I had to try my hand at the style. 

One scene in particular within the released images was that of Orco going full magical powers against an ethereal entity... at least that's what it seemed. This  image was to be my inspiration for drawing this fan art. I was really excited to work with the colours, shades, filters and detailed anime styles which I was otherwise unfamiliar with in my own experience. Had me a great time.
