Bursaspor 60th anniversary jersey
In honor of the 60th anniversary of the Turkish club Bursaspor, I designed a special jersey with many references to the rich past of the club and its region.
The shirt pattern refers to the courageous Osman Gazi. The sketch of the Ottoman leader is combined with the year 1963, the year the club was founded. The leather tag with the crocodile, which is called Timsa in Turkish, is a reference to the shape of the stadium.
With an organic reach of more than 325,000 people, the Bursa anniversary design was well received by fans on X (previously known as Twitter). For local fan media, the social media success was the ultimate reason to also report on the jersey design.
