Over the past couple of years, I've had the opportunity to work as a concept artist and world builder for a a game project called Anubis.

Anubis is a Galactic Adventure RPG featuring humorous dialogues, cutscenes, and 3rd person shooting with AI companions. Cartoon Style Parody targeting sci-fi products & general pop culture references.

These images are overloaded with details, but the goal was to give the 3d artists as many ideas as possible for inspiration.
This is the first part of such image set that I think are worth sharing.

First concept of the Palladium. It is the heart of the Star Alliance space station. It is where the rich and important people live.
The palladium is part of one of the rings of the space station. At the bottom of the rings there are holes that lead into the Lower Wards that are guarded by Star Alliance Police officers and border controls.
The first concept of the Lower Wards. It is the seedy underbelly of the space station. This is a place the law of the Star Alliance doesn’t reach. Crime runs rampant and the poor are forced to live down here. The district is built within an excavated cave inside the asteroid the space station is built upon.

Interior design of a bar called Sleazy Weasel. The bar is usually frequented by mutants and other inhabitants of the Lower Wards.

Concept of the maintenance tunnels. These are the tunnels running underneath the military base of Palladium and they are normally used by military personnel as storage, transport and rest areas. 
SHADOW BORKER ROOM. Shadow Borker is a surgically enhanced dog who tried really hard to clone himself but have never succeed fully. One of the early bosses of the game. 
A scene in which a tribe of alien insects inhabiting the hidden corners of the Palladium are trying to send a signal to their home planet using all sorts of improvised means.
The concept of a spare parts store for spaceships called "Scrap Hole" based in Lower Wards.
The concept of the interior of the Palladium military base, decorated for the celebration of the day of the alliance.
Costume shop based in the Lower Wards. 
The exterior of the asteroid that hosts the Palladium space base. In this location, an ice cave was supposed to be located, in which one of the quests of the game would take place.

Scrapyard and Roboshredder. 
The scrapyard is where a lot of the trash from the Lower Wards end up. On the premise of the scrapyard there is an enclosed area known as the Roboshredder. The Roboshredded is an area containing large machines to process and crush metal junk and disused robots/droids. The processed junk then gets dumped into space via a huge hole in the asteroid. The whole area should have had a light horror theme to it.
