Drift, asks the viewer to see, to notice and understand. The tables form presents a paradox between, line, plane & volume. Two separate horizontal planes slowly twist from the horizontal to the vertical creating a line in the horizontal plane and thus dissolving the appearance of solidity. Void and enclosure are being creating concurrently. The twist provides a gradual change from one state to the next, drawing out the moment and highlighting this metamorphosis. The repetition and offset of the transformation, allows the viewer to see into the future without forgetting the past, to experience the now framed by experience and anticipation.
